Sunday Morning

-- A few days ago Jannene woke up with a rose next to her. A nice touch for the morning. Well, Sassy also saw the rose that morning and fell in love with a rose petal, as one had fallen off. We thought it was funny, but didn't want her to eat the petal. Upon removing it from her, she grew anxious...as she desperately searched for the rose petal. Next thing I know we are playing keep-a-way from Sassy with a rose petal. After the "game" was over, I stuck the rose in a small vase, in the window downstairs. --

Upon waking up this morning we found a rose at the foot of our bed.By looking at the rose, I would say that she must have tossed it around and played with it a lot through the night. In addition to that, she carried the rose upstairs and dropped it off at the foot of our bed. Obviously, she wanted to play the "game" some more.

During the night Sassy had plucked the rose from this vase -without knocking it, or anything else over-.

UPDATE! Tonight I laid my head on Jannene's belly to see what I could hear and the little guy kicked me in the right ear! That was the FIRST time that I have been able to feel him. It wasn't expected...but still a cool experience.

The most dangerous cake recipe in the world!

Before I give the recipe, I must say that one of my good friends sent me this...and I confess, I made it within MINUTES of reading her email! Honestly, I didn't even go to the next email. I got up and went straight to the kitchen!

This was GREAT! Hope you enjoy this as much as I (we) did. Oh, for a taller, skinner cake, use a taller, skinner mug. For a fatter, shorter cake..., you get the idea. =)

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share).


And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world ?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

The Sex of Our Baby is FINALLY Revelead to US!

Is the Suspense KILLING you as of yet? Are you excited to learn what we are having? We were so excited a few weeks ago, when we first thought we were going to learn about it! However, we were forced to wait, due to the placenta being in the way. What a mean trick it played on us. As it forced us to wait...and wait...and wait... lol Hmmmm.... It can be so draining...to know that something is coming, the answer that you want, is only moments...even inches away, but still it hasn't been revealed as of yet. Yeah, we know the feeling. It was way crazy to have to wait and wait, to be all excited to know and then be turned away empty handed. Being told that we have to come back another time. It is a good thing that you guys aren't being asked to come back another time. "Ohhh...sorry, you can't find out anything today. However, if you check out the blog in a few days, you'll be able to learn on here." HAHA! Only joking, that would be HORRID! We'll tell you....We'll tell you what the sex of our little baby is. Know that we are having a Healthy Baby and that it has a STRONG heart!

Speaking of that...we were able to see it's lungs, feet, heart, arms, brain, clavicle, and so much more! Modern technology is amazing! However, it is not fool proof. I heard of a lady who was told that she was going to have a boy, however when it came out...it was a girl. I guess the cord looked like a "boy" due to the positioning. So see...with that said, maybe we don't know what it is. Maybe the doctor was wrong. Hmmmm....maybe I should wait until the NEXT APPOINTMENT, that way we are 100% sure before we tell people. Hmmm....No, that wouldn't be very nice. We are having a BABY...MONKEY! No....that's not right...by looking at the eyes, it looks like a baby Alien! Yeah! That's it! We are having a little Alien!
