A lot of our "followers" have let us know that it has been MONTHS since we last blogged. WoW! Has it really been THAT long? Well...here's a buffet edition. We hope to fill you up with the happenings of the last three (yes...3!) months.
F.Y.I. Clicking on ANY of the photos below will bring up a LARGER image in a new window. Which makes them easier to view without squinting. =)

From top to bottom: Hawaii 2009, May 2009, Vegas 2009 and TODAY! June 14th, 2009Jannene is now in her ninth month...our little boy has a due date of July 4th. We are excited to have him come. Jannene is more than ready for him to be here and to get her body back! **Personally, I understand that she wants it back...but come on, check her out! She is one HOT MOMMA to BE! I (Johnathan) am so in love with my wife! She is a very cute and dare I say "sexy" pregnant wife! There's an attraction to Jannene that has developed inside me since she got pregnant, that is different than how I felt before. I am more attracted to her now than EVER before! She is smokin' hot still and she just glows...must be the prenatal vitamins! =) Getting her body back will be welcomed, however this current gorgeous body, will surely be missed. I love my wife and I am extremely attracted to her, even at 9+ months pregnant. She is *in my opinion* very cute and most attractive! Speaking of Attractive...I sprained my ankle a few months ago, it is still sore from time to time. Once it fully heals..I am going BACK on my
P90X workout program! I am determined to SLIM back down to where I was BEFORE Jannene and I celebrated our one year anniversary! I told Jannene that I must have put on the poundage to make sure that I always weighed more than her. Could you imagine the prego hormones if she weighed more than me...yeah, no thank you! With that said...wish me luck! P90X! Here I come!**

We went to Hawaii in late March and were there until the first part of April. We had to leave just before Johnathan's birthday. As part of Johnathan's "birthday" present Lu, Dennis and Mildred (Johnathan's Mom, Dad, and Grandmother, respectively) joined us! The trip allowed for a vacation and some celebrations. Lu turned 50 this year! Lu and Dennis celebrated their 20th year anniversary this year! Grandma (Mildred) will become
75 years YOUNG this year! And Johnathan and Jannene celebrated their TWO year Anniversary...and this was the last trip that required an airplane before little Connor arrives!

Since returning from Hawaii we went to Las Vegas, Napa, and Johnathan went to Utah.

We stayed at the Luxor while in Vegas! The inclinator (an elevator that moves at an angle) in the Luxor was awesome! The feeling one gets from riding in it is...well, you'll just have to experience it. Your insides all go sideways and when it stops...you sway at an angle! We saw some friends, Derek and Bre while we were in Vegas. As always, we had a blast with them.
After Vegas we headed to Napa to see Corinne Brandon, Rebecca, Walter and all the kiddos. That was a much needed, very relaxing weekend! School was finally out for Johnathan and he and Jannene really enjoyed just playing board games (Acquire, Settlers, Wii, & Blokus) and relaxing! The girls enjoyed their time together and the guys went and saw T3. Besides that...they just vegged the entire weekend!
Why Utah...? Johnathan's friend Ryan just got HITCHED! He was excited to have been there! The trip was fast...only three days! It was long enough though, according to Jannene. She wanted her "husband back!" As the lonely nights were well, lonely. While in Utah Johnathan saw some good friends (and unfortunately ran out of time, and wasn't able to see everyone he had planned to see -next time, they will be top priority).
Upon leaving Utah Johnathan filled up the Camry Hybrid in Springville. By the time he reached Vegas he had used less than half a tank of fuel! As he looked at the fuel gauge he decided that he could technically make it home, so long as there wasn't a lot of head wind as he went across Southern California. He committed to making it home and continued straight through! A few hours later he had made it home...traveling 611 miles straight through, without stopping.
The "average speed" was roughly 71-73 most of the way however, slow California traffic brought the speed down to what you see above. After arriving home he took Jannene to her checkup appointment...and he insisted upon driving the Camry (without adding fuel)! After the appointment and dinner, the needle jumped pretty far down, beyond the "E" so Johnathan decided it was time to get gas. In all, the Camry went 628 miles on one TANK! We truly enjoy this car! The best performance before this was 597 miles, when we went from Fillmore, Utah to Cheyenne, WY on one tank. That was fun too!
In addition to all of that traveling, Jannene (and Johnathan) felt more than loved, as three baby showers were thrown in honor of our first baby, CONNOR! Jannene's work, church friends and her sisters all threw separate showers. All were well attended and...WoW!
Our house is OFFICIALLY FLOODED! Flooded with BABY STUFF! We want to THANK everyone for ALL the gifts and support! Jannene has been writing "Thank you" cards nonstop since the first shower. If you haven't received yours yet, it is COMING! As she is still writing them.

We hope you have enjoyed the Buffet! Hopefully we will stay on top of our blogging! However, with the little one coming, who knows?!?!?
