Connor's FIRST...

GAME!
We drove to San Diego to watch BYU take on the Aztecs!
The game took place at
Stadium. The home of the San Diego Chargers.
We went with several friends. Initially we paid for some upgraded "club seats" which put us right around the 20 or 30 yard line. As the sun continued to beat down on us, Jannene, Anna, Tom, Sunny, Cam, Angela and Tyler's Mom all headed for the shaded section. Johnathan and Tyler stayed put, as they were really enjoying the upgraded seats. A few minutes later we were invited to join the rest of our group...in the BOX! Tom had been talking to a guy who had the entire Box to himself and one other friend. Before we knew it, he had invited us all to join them.
Why is Cam looking forward when everyone else is looking at the field? Well...since there were three televisions in the box, watching instant replay just became a lot easier.
The women especially enjoyed the leather couch, comfy chairs, running water, private bathroom, etc... There wasn't anything in the Box that they, or anyone didn't enjoy! The seats and the view were exceptional!

These photos are of BYU's opening drive.
BYU mixed it up really well with a combination of passes...
(The "pigskin" is in the air above #76's right shoulder.)
...and runs that marched the Aztecs backwards down the field!
BYU's attempt got stopped...ohhh, so CLOSE!
Try as they might...
...the Aztecs couldn't prevent this drive...
...from ending in a "TOUCH DOWN!"
Here are a some photos from the game. It was a great day! Connor was excellent too!

We're a bit more "serious" here. Why? That's the question! It was a great, high scoring day! We all were having a BLAST!
The only thing that really bothered Connor was some loud cheers and the Civil War style Cannon that the Aztecs fired off when they scored. When those things happened, his Daddy just ducked back inside the box. The glass windows provided a perfect sound barrier for his little ears.
Here's Connor soaking up all the action in Daddy's arms.
The Final Score...
By the way, this was the Aztecs "Homecoming Game." Also, this game marked the 25th Anniversary of BYU's National Title Game that they won on this field in 1984.
High flying Connor loved the game and had a great time!

Connor's...

Johnathan's Mom and Dad came down to visit just before and after Connor's blessing. In celebration on his Dad's birthday, they all went to Disneyland! His parents had not been there since the early 90s so this was a special trip. Connor had never officially been there. However, several months ago, Jannene and Johnathan went while Connor was still hitchhiking a ride inside Jannene.

With that said, let's get on with the post.
Grandma and Grandpa Swart arrive at Disneyland early for a full day of activities with their new grandson!

It's a good thing that the camera caught the welcome greeting from Mickey and his friends.

Connor's parents were very happy to learn that Connor could go on many of the rides! They took Connor on "The Pirates of the Caribbean" the "Pooh" ride, all through Toon Town, Small World, and a few other places/rides too!

Connor was WIDE awake at first! He appeared to love the sights and sounds as he "people watched" in a large crowd for the first time.

As he got more and more tired, the stroller eventually took over.

Even know he was tired, Connor kept fighting sleep until...
...the combination of Daddy's hat and being held finally won.

While shopping one of Mickey's friends...EEYORE, volunteered to watch Connor for a while.
Connor was happy as could be as he snuggled into Eeyore's shoulder. Eeyore took his job seriously too. His watchful eyes never left their post. He watched Connor like a hawk would have!

After Connor fell asleep, Jannene found it easy to pose with him.
While Jannene enjoyed peacefully holding a sleeping baby, Johnathan and his parents hit the road!

Have you ever noticed that Disneyland's staff appear to ALWAYS be watching.

Since Jannene didn't get to drive her own car, Grandma Swart pushed her around the park for a while.

Just outside of this picture a meal is being served. Jannene is also sitting on the other side of the table. By chance, could both of these guys be thinking the same thing. "Yummm. Lunch Time!"

The BATTLE RAGES ON! This time, in epic fashion, while holding Connor Johnathan scored enough points to, errr, ahhh, hmmmm...at least keep up with Jannene.
Grandma and Grandpa Swart's first time ever on this ride! Not too shabby.

Connor and Johnathan rushed off to a fire in Toon Town's Fire Engine!

Connor receiving a last second hug from Jannene prior to her handing him off to Grandma Swart before the carousel started moving.

Grandma Swart, holding Connor on the carousel.

Connor: "Okay dad, please tell Mom that I'm cute. Hopefully this will be the last hat that I try on today."
Connor: Now, if only I was a TRUE Wizard!
