Life has been wonderful!

The baby girl Jannene is carrying around was "nameless" for the longest time. We could not decide between Kelsey or Ella. Well, if you don't know already, here comes the announcement: Our little one will be named Ella. Jannene made the final decision, while Johnathan said he was open for either one. After much thought, contemplation, and "test driving" the name, Jannene selected the name that she has always thought sounded lovely, Ella.
With that said, Jannene is talking about giving Ella an eviction notice. She's ready to carry Ella in her arms, not just in her belly. Jannene's mid-wife signed her off work and said to take it easy (she basically assigned her to bed rest for a week), as Ella still has a few weeks before her due date. Johnathan says that keeping Jannene in bed rest is about as difficult as keeping a balloon down.
Johnathan has been working hard at finishing school and also being worked hard by school and Jannene. Between the heavy class load (papers, exams, etc...) and Jannene's "nesting" in preparation for Baby Ella, whew! Johnathan is, as Jannene calls him at times, "a pack mule." Especially since Jannene can't lift heavy items or go up the stairs easily right now.
With spring break right around the corner, Johnathan knows that this break will be anything but, as there are still projects and things that Jannene wants done around the house. The backyard is calling, along with the floor (changing it from carpet to wood (or linoleum eventually), and countless other things that are desired to be done before the baby is here. Since Jannene's mid-wife says the Ella could come at any moment, the decision had been made that the flooring will have to wait, as it wouldn't be good to have the house in the middle of construction when Ella decides to come into our world.
A lot more has happened however, this little taste will have to suffice. It is nearly two am, time for bed. More to come in the future. We'll try to blog more frequently.
