A few hours later we found ourselves eating dinner at a nice little restaurant located at mile marker 88 in Key "Islamorada".
the ground. This was a lot of fun.
The next day we headed to the Florida Everglades! Jannene really wanted to see some alligators! We were told where we could find some wild gators at night, if we flipped on our high beams. Well...we headed down this road and sure enough, they were everywhere! We saw approximately 15-20 totally wild gators!
Since we didn't get out of the car by the wild gators, Jannene decided to wrestle this one.
She had much better luck then I did. This one had a bone to pick with me since...
The next day...JUNGLE ISLAND!
After the orangutan, we had an opportunity to hold a lion and a gibbon.
Afterwords we came across an albino alligator!
We ventured down to the Keys a few times during this trip. On one of the trips we stopped at the Theater of the Sea. Jannene had an opportunity to throw a ring to a sea lion.

All of the above happened in the first 4-5 days...there's so much more that we did, but it will not fit here! We tried to make this short and informative. We have also added some more photo albums and videos to Johnathan's facebook. To save space, we'll end this post with one last paragraph.
Our 10 day vacation was jammed pack with activities and good times. We have a video of an insane macaw that attempted to land on Jannene's outstretched arm but has no coordination. Instead of landing on Jannene's arm, he flew straight for her head! Another video captures Jannene feeding three foot long Tarpon! These fish were huge and fast! We both had an opportunity to pet a young Angel Shark. Other photos capture us at the Southern Most Point in the United States and at Dry Tortugas National Park (which is found 70 miles west of Key West - requires a 2 hour ride on this ferry to get there).
We had a GREAT time and look forward to heading back to the Keys in the future!
